Bed & Breakfasts in the Georgia Mountains

For a memorable stay that is as unique as the area, try staying at a smaller space like a Bed & Breakfast. Generally, these will include a warm breakfast with the owner and other guests, and the service will be much more personalized than a visit to a chain hotel. Some places also offer complimentary hors d’oeurves in the evening.

Pro Tip: be sure to mention any dietary restrictions when booking to give the hosts enough time to accommodate your requests.

Hi Alyce, what a beautiful article, reading about these beautiful B&B accommodations, it is impossible to not visit the Georgia mountains. My favourite on your list is the beautiful buildings of 1890, Blue Ringe Inn with access to restaurants, antique shops and other attractive places to visit around it.

The information I have read and the pictures I have seen of Georgia mountains are awe-inspiring. Taking a tour to a beautiful and mountainous Georgia is my wish, and of course I will need Bed & Breakfast there to feel a bit closer to the charm of the area. I can imagine it now – the feeling of being in traditional Bed & Breakfast in the Georgia mountains, seems amazing.

    • Alyce says:

These B&Bs; certainly provide a nice way to add local charm to your stay in North Georgia. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Thanks for bringing us these B&Bs; in the Georgia mountains.

I think that it is good to be reminded that hotels aren’t always the best option for a break.  Many B&Bs; can be much more like home and you have hosts who will give you their undivided attention.  They will probably know far more about the area too, and give you details of the best places to visit.

I will certainly keep these in mind.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Geoff, A stay at a North Georgia Bed & Breakfast is going to include things that you just can’t get at a hotel — including a great home-cooked breakfast!

  5. LineCowley says:

I always prefer staying in a Bed-and-Breakfast place, rather than a chain hotel, as the service is so much more personalized and special. I have never been to the Georgia Mountains, so it is great to find that there are several options of B&B available in the Georgia Mountains.

My first choice would be the Aska Lodge with the lovely view and sitting next to the open fire.

    • Alyce says:

Hello! I agree that it’s preferable to find things that are uniquely local when traveling rather than finding standby chain establishments. These B&Bs; offer great options for charming mountain vacations.
