It has been difficult for me to find vacation houses that include EV charges in North Georgia. I found your review guide very helpful, now I can plan my vacation with family to North Georgia that offers EV chargers. I have bookmarked your website for easy access and shared with my followers.

Hello Jannette, I’m so happy to hear that this has been helpful for planning a North Ga trip with electric cars! Thank you so much for sharing this resource too!! I hope you have an enjoyable time on your North Georgia vacation.

This is a great site for those who have electric cars. I personally have had reservations about buying one as I wouldn’t be comfortable traveling with one as you never know if where your going is going to have a charging area for your car. It’s nice to see a travel website that has that info and recommendations. Keep up the great work!

I suspect that you are not alone in wondering where you can travel with an electric car! It’s great to see more EV charging stations added both in public spaces and at so many vacation rentals in North Ga.

It is good to know there are so many places in this area with electric vehicle chargers. I have been considering an electric car for awhile but finding places to charge it is of course a concern. I live near a large city in Texas and just looking at your website is a great way to relax as I begin to envision myself already on vacation in beautiful North Georgia. If I had to choose just one of these options, I think I would stay in the Canoe Cruise rental cabin. I would have to bring plenty of people to fill up the 5 bedroom space, and while they did all kinds of fun things there I could just sit back and watch the river roll by!

Hi Randi, Vacationing with your favorite people in a large, scenic cabin is a great way to enjoy your time off. Knowing that your EV can charge at the cabin during your downtime means you won’t need to make extra stops to “fuel” up during vacation time — allowing you to get the most out of precious vacation time! Enjoy!

I love that electric chargers for cars are becoming a “thing” in this country.  I can’t wait until it becomes more prevalent, as it is in Europe.  This would make it easier for more people to switch over!  Having said this, these cabins are all very beautiful and the cost for many (if you had the max number of people) would be less than $30 a night for many of them.  I think I’d have to choose the one Ocoee River, if only for the wrap-around. deck! It would make a fun weekend for me and 11 of my closest friends!

Hi, Cynthia! It’s been exciting to see the interest in EVs grow over the past few years. The additional charging stations make it easier for EV owners to confidently travel to North Georgia.

The Ocoee River rental cabin is gorgeous and a perfect place to gather friends!

All of these look like great places to relax and unwind. I always get anxious about the availability of chargers for my EV, so Its great that the amount of chargers are increasing. Also the costs for all of these lodges seems quite reasonable. I would to go some day. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Champ! It’s been great to see more EVs in North Georgia and the growing availability of EV chargers. I’m glad to hear that you found some suitable lodging options for your next trip! Enjoy!!

Now, this is something special, connecting green and blue. Most of the similar places do not have EV charges, which I think is a mistake. First, many people nowadays drives EVs, the trend is definitely going up, and also people how to go on this type of vacation, rarely drive a diesel truck. This is a great idea – I didn’t know about these  North Georgia rentals with charging stations.

Hi Ivan, Among my group of friends, the ownership of electric cars has gone up considerably in the past few years. It’s wonderful that now there are more places to vacation in North Georgia with electric car chargers! Very smart to align green tech with blue ridge, indeed! πŸ™‚

I don’t have an electric vehicle but these cabins all look great.  I was just looking at an article on distilleries in Georgia, and I am wondering if you know if any of these cabins happen to be near a distillery.  We are looking at visiting next fall, and staying at a cabin like these would be wonderful and just make our family vacation so much better.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Leahrae, Of the North Ga cabins with EV chargers, the closest options will be the Mountain Home on the Sky Valley Golf Course, located about 8 miles from The RM Rose Company Distillery in Dillard. However, if you don’t need to be in a place with an EV charger, then there are many more cabins to choose from in the Georgia mountains. Enjoy!

Hey, there! We would love to stay near Blue Ridge. I am a fan of country life so, staying in a farmhouse cabin makes perfect sense. However, I was wondering if I could get my EV charged anywhere nearby. I am very glad to find this cozy lodging option to enjoy our mountain vacation.

    • Alyce says:

Blue Ridge has lots to offer and you are sure to enjoy the Farmhouse Cabin. Be sure to reserve the cabin early so that your preferred travel dates are available. I hope you have a great trip!

Thanks for the information about the best solutions for lodging with EV charges in North Georgia.

You are right it is an impressive list of lodges and cabins that offer charging stations.

I had an unforgettable drive through Blue Ridge Parkway few years back. I’ve rented ICE Ford Mustang back then.

Looking forward to my EV drive through Blue Ridge and to stay at some places you’ve mentioned here.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Bob, driving a sports car is a great way to travel the scenic, windy roads in North Georgia and the Appalachian mountains. Hopefully having more EV charging stations like these will encourage more people to hit these scenic roads in electric cars!
