Free tickets are now available online for free admission for 2 to “participating museums and cultural institutions across the country” on Museum Day (Saturday, September 22, 2018). Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Each Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

Fee-free days at US Forest Service sites! The US Forest Service waives recreation fees at most day-use sites on lands managed by the agency. Participation by concession-operated sites may vary. Mark your calendar for these 2018 dates:

Celebrate the start of National Park Week with a trip to your National favorite park – no entrance fee required!

National Parks Servce Free Entrance Days for 2018:

  • Monday, January 15: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
  • Saturday, April 21: First day of National Park Week
  • Saturday, September 22: National Public Lands Day
  • Sunday, November 11: Veterans Day

Additionally, all 4th graders can get a free annual National Parks Pass from the “Every Kid in a Park” program. With the pass, fourth graders can bring family and friends on adventures free for a full year. Signup in August to get the full year of free admission to all of the National Parks!
