I am not lucky enough to own an electric vehicle yet, but even so, these cabins look awesome. Going there with a bunch of your closest friends must be a lot of fun.
I was surprised with all the amenities on offer that the prices are so good. If you take a bunch of friends and share the costs, you won’t end up paying much at all for your accommodation. I mean the first one sleeps 22.
It’s great to know that electric vehicles can be charged there, as I don’t think it will be fun getting stuck miles from anywhere with a flat battery.

I enjoyed your article. Blue Ridge in North Georgia is just a two-hour drive from where I live. I didn’t know about Coosawattee River and it’s practically in my back yard. It is a pretty river and a summer destination for me.

I’ve always wanted to visit the blue ridge mountains. Where possible I do like to consider my environmental impact when I travel, so like the thought of hiring an e-car and knowing I can easily charge. Do you know of any treehouse type of accommodation and any which also have e-car charging nearby? Thank you
Hi Rivi, There are great treehouse rentals in the area from rustic to luxe, but as far as I know, they don’t include EV chargers. However, the managers of those treehouse rentals may be able to advise you on the closest places to charge an electric car during your stay. Enjoy!
Wow! If only I lived nearer! These log cabins look stunning ! I don’t currently have a EV chargeable car but I love the look of all these beautiful places to stay.
I love the fact that there are pet friendly places to stay, places for those who love golf ( my hubby would love these resorts ) and that you have given options to check availability within the B&B’s.
There are some stunning surroundings in North Georgia, far more than I’ve even seen here in the UK.
They look so modern, clean and up to date with their facilities and a truly beautiful place to stay if I ever get the chance.

This is a great site for those who have electric cars. I personally have had reservations about buying one as I wouldn’t be comfortable traveling with one as you never know if where your going is going to have a charging area for your car. It is good to know there are so many places in this area with electric vehicle chargers. I have been considering an electric car for awhile but finding places to charge it is of course a concern. I live near a large city in Texas and just looking at your website is a great way to relax as I begin to envision myself already on vacation in beautiful North Georgia. If I had to choose just one of these options, I think I would stay in the Canoe Cruise rental cabin. I would have to bring plenty of people to fill up the 5 bedroom space, and while they did all kinds of fun things there I could just sit back and watch the river roll by!

I love that electric chargers for cars are becoming a “thing” in this country. I can’t wait until it becomes more prevalent, as it is in Europe. This would make it easier for more people to switch over! Having said this, these cabins are all very beautiful and the cost for many (if you had the max number of people) would be less than $30 a night for many of them. I think I’d have to choose the one Ocoee River, if only for the wrap-around. deck! It would make a fun weekend for me and 11 of my closest friends!

Now, this is something special, connecting green and blue. Most of the similar places do not have EV charges, which I think is a mistake. First, many people nowadays drives EVs, the trend is definitely going up, and also people how to go on this type of vacation, rarely drive a diesel truck. I was just looking at an article on distilleries in Georgia, and I am wondering if you know if any of these cabins happen to be near a distillery. We are looking at visiting next fall, and staying at a cabin like these would be wonderful and just make our family vacation so much better.
Hi Leahrae, Of the North Ga cabins with EV chargers, the closest options will be the Mountain Home on the Sky Valley Golf Course, located about 8 miles from The RM Rose Company Distillery in Dillard. However, if you don’t need to be in a place with an EV charger, then there are many more cabins to choose from in the Georgia mountains. Enjoy!
