Dahlonega’s first family farm winery is Three Sisters Vineyards, a name inspired by the property’s view of Lumpkin County’s Three Sisters Mountain. They have proudly offered wine from 100% Estate Grown grapes since their first day. Enjoy their unique wines including a bold Cabernet Franc (a personal favorite), their fortified port, or one of their amazing sparkling wines. There is also live music on the Crush Pad deck on occasions.
Dogs are welcome year-round (see dog policy on Wine Tasting page) and Three Sisters even has dog treats available behind their bar in the main tasting room.
Vineyard has gravel roads and parking lot (plan footwear accordingly).
Currahee Vineyard & Winery is located at the southern start of the Georgia Mountains in Toccoa. They boast a selection of Red, White, Sweet (including an apple wine), and even Wine Slushies. A covered tasting area has views of their vines and Currahee Mountain in the distance. The staff couldn’t possibly be more friendly and welcoming – even on a crowded Sunday afternoon while live music is playing.
Seating is available inside the tasting room, on a covered patio adjacent to tasting room, and outside. Enjoy the small, family-owned winery and the hand-crafted wines from Vinifera, Muscadine, and other native grapes.
Parking lot and driveway is gravel / not paved (plan footwear accordingly).
