Terra Incognita Vineyard produces a variety of wines from dry to sweet. Select from red wines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cardinal Direction) and white wines (Chardonnay, True North, White Meridian), plus rosé wine, sparkling wine, fruit wines, and mead.

A unique feature of Terra Incognita Vineyard is the easy on-site hiking trails that allow guests to immerse themselves in nature. Explore the property and take in views that include Georgia’s Rabun Bald (elevation 4,696′).

Choose your adventure on one of two easy loop trails, the Easter Creek Loop (0.9 miles) or the Spring House Loop (1.4 miles). Alternately, guests may use the vineyard as a starting point to explore other hiking and mountain biking trails nearby!

🕡 The hours at the Terra Incognita wine tasting room depend on the season, with longer hours and more open days during the warmer months. Their closing time (9 pm / 7 pm in Winter) is later than most area vineyards, allowing guests to watch the day’s light fade into the night as the sun sets between the eastern and western hillsides.

Private tastings and special events are available by appointment.

  • MON: 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm (closed from December to March)
