Wow, what great information on the solar eclipse over Georgia! I live in Florida, and this has peaked my interest. I am going to have to look this up and see when this will be above me. This sort of thing fascinates me as you don’t get a chance to see it very often. Thank you so much for sharing!

      Hello Matt’s Mom!

Unfortunately, this solar eclipse isn’t going to directly go over any part of Florida. To see the totality, you will have to travel a bit.

Fortunately, the Georgia Mountains are fairly close to Florida compared to the rest of the path of the eclipse!!

I hope you find a great way to enjoy this special event that is less than 2 weeks away!

      Regards, Alyce

Exciting blog to read about the upcoming total solar eclipse on the 21st. I have relatives in Charlotte, NC and think they are close enough to the pathway that it should be a great experience for them. I live in New England and probably will only be able to experience a partial one but I’ll be out there looking and watching.

Hi Karen, your relatives in Charlotte, NC should be able to see some of the effects of the eclipse, but unfortunately the totality will not be visible there. I hope you all find an exiting way to experience this rare event!

      Regards, Alyce
