This Georgia mountain off-road park near Dahlonega has over 150 miles of off-road trails that are GPS marked and mapped. Choose to either bring your own equipment to ride or rent a vehicle from them.

ATV Trails in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests
For those who have their own ATV’s and prefer a little more adventure, these OHV Trails in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests provide a great way to enjoy the North Georgia National Forests.
There are a number of great OHV trails in the National Forests in North Georgia. Spend some quality time in the forest but also be aware that many trails will:
- Close when conditions are wet (this prevents trail damage and erosion into nearby streams)
- Close for winter (check each location for open date)
- Close at night
- Require a usage fee (check policies online)

Oakey Mountain OHV Trails
These trails offer mountainous terrain with two-way trails open to OHV’s with less than a 48-inch axle width. Terrain ranges from intermediate to rocky and steep (up to 35% grade) with multiple blind curves. Oakey Mountain OHV trail connects to the Moates Knob trail at the southern end of Oakey, totaling over 9 miles of OHV trails!

Beasley Knob OHV Trails
Many of the trails within Beasley Knob are classified as difficult to most difficult. This area is made up of interconnecting dirt trails, rock hill climbs, and gravel roads and is recommended for experienced riders only. The system provides over 10.5 miles of recreational driving for OHV enthusiasts riding four-wheel drives, motorcycles, and ATVs!

Davenport Mountain OHV Trails
Davenport Mountain is a 5.9-mile trail suitable for ATVs and motorcycles. The trail includes an easy section for inexperienced riders and other sections marked as more difficult and most difficult.
This trail loops around Davenport Mountain with some moderate grades and offers views of Nottely Lake. The trail crosses a road at two places — be sure to watch for other vehicles on the road at these crossings.

The Houston Valley OHV trails offer a variety of wooded trails for everyone, ranging from easy to difficult. Enjoy the 25 miles of trails (for motorbikes and ATVs under 50″) that have been designed to provide a challenging, safe ride while protecting the environment.

Rocky Flats OHV Trail
This free Rocky Flats trail is 4.4 miles long and suitable for 4-wheel drive vehicles (~2.8 miles on the eastern side is open to mixed traffic). Rocky Flats is more suitable for 4WD trucks and jeeps (there is no parking lot to offload ATVs and 4-wheelers).

Rock Creek ORV Trail
Rock Creek Trail is a free ATV trail for 4-wheelers, motorcycles, and ATVs under 50″ wide. This loop trail offers 4.7 miles of a challenging riding experience through scenic terrain. Rock Creek connects with Tatum Lead ORV Trail.

Tatum Lead ORV Trail
This 5.5-mile free trail is suitable for four-wheel drives and trucks, as there is no parking lot to off-load ATVs and 4-wheelers (no unlicensed vehicles first 2 miles across R-O-W). This trail ends at private property (do not go past the end of the trail).

Windy Gap, Milma Creek, and Tibbs OHV Trails
These trails are free to use and suitable for motorbikes and mountain bicycles (ATVs are prohibited above the Milma Creek Trail intersection). Trail access has changed over the years – be sure to check online for current status and vehicle restrictions. Each ATV trail is less than 5 miles long (Windy Gap OHV trail is 4.4 miles, Milma Creek OHV trail is 3.5 miles, Tibbs OHV trail is 2.5 miles).

Smart Clothing for ATV Riding
In addition to the legally required safety gear, the parks may or may not have additional rules about what can be worn while riding. Generally speaking, you want to ensure that you wear well-fitted clothing and shoes that will be comfortable throughout the ride.
