These lakefront vacation rentals look gorgeous! And the prices are very reasonable too. I found ot amusing that they had minimum age requirements for the primary renter. They must have had problems renting to younger adults before.

Do these properties include maid service? I know it is like living in a home setting.

    Cheers.

Hi Edwin, Thanks for sharing. Many of the Lake Chatuge waterfront rental properties hire professional cleaning services that only service the house after you check out. If you require additional cleaning during your stay, it can usually be negotiated with the property manager.

Hey Alyce! Thank you for this super helpful post. I had never heard of Lake Chatuge but have wanted to visit the Appalachian mountains for some time. It seems that there are so many incredible options to stay in a rental that can connect you with nature and help you relax. I appreciate the recommendations and will be looking into these!

  3. Randi says:

Wow you have so many waterfront options here its almost impossible to decide between them! The No Worries lake house would be my top choice though. Besides having the best name ever, they seem to be the most affordable yet still feature a private dock and plenty of ways to have fun on the water. I especially like that you can rent a boat there as well! I cannot wait until my next visit to Georgia!

Lake Chatuge is such a pretty area in Georgia! I’m so glad I found your article because this summer I was actually looking at visiting the area, but hadn’t considered renting a home. That’s such a great idea! You’ve provided some beautiful looking, comfortable spots and I appreciate you listing the prices and features. Good to know. I’ll definitely be checking these spots out for my summer trip. Thanks for sharing!

Great advice and suggestions on where to go on vacation in Georgia! I can’t wait to visit there in the near future. I had no idea there were so many beautiful spots to explore in that area until I went on this trip. The photographs are beautiful, and they make me want to arrange a trip right away. Because you have suggestions for places to eat as well, and that you have their locations and phone numbers so that we don’t have to search those up individually, is very helpful.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Dirk, North Georgia is a fantastic place to vacation, and Lake Chatuge rental houses provide the perfect place to start each day’s adventures. Enjoy!

A family or group could certainly have a wonderful time renting from one of these resorts. Having access to the lakefront, swimming, boat rentals as well as hiking paths could make for a memorable getaway in such a scenic surrounding. I am certain there are plenty of sights to see and view in the area as well. It could be well worth the trip.

Hi Jerry, Indeed, there are all kinds of ways to enjoy your time in North Georgia and at Lake Chatuge! There are a couple of easy hikes (relatively short and flat) that follow the shoreline of the lake and some much more challenging options that climb some of the highest peaks in Georgia. Enjoy!

I have lived in South Georgia for 25 plus years and have been planning on a trip to Lake Chatuge as friends told me it’s a beautiful place to visit and especially get waterfront vacation rental. With your detailed guide, I can now plan my trip and decide on which waterfront property I would like to reserve. Thanks for your beautiful detailed guide with images.

    • Alyce says:

Hello Jannette! I love that Georgia has so many diverse regions to enjoy without ever leaving the state! I’m glad to hear that this article has helped you to find beautiful waterfront lodging options for your trip to Lake Chatuge in North Georgia. Have a great trip!

All of those resorts look absolutely amazing. I would definitely go fishing once or twice and check out some of the water toys. The structure of these stays are also stunning and the prices seem pretty reasonable for what you get. I currently live in Ohio, but hope that I can visit soon! We have lake resorts up here too, but something about that southern sunshine makes it more desirable!

    • Alyce says:

Hi Caleb, These waterfront Lake Chatuge vacation rentals do offer a lot of amenities, plus the location can’t be beaten! We hope to see you one day soon!

I have always wanted to visit the southern part of the united states but the biggest question was where to go and where am I going to stay – there are just so many places I can visit! This would be a great place to start, it looks really fun. Thank you for this recommendation.

  11. Larry says:

Man those are some beautiful places! I have seen the Great Lakes just twice, one in a plane and once when I was driving truck and was driving through Chicago. They are big! But you can’t truly appreciate their beauty from a plane or a Big Rig. I think it would be really nice to rent one of the waterfront rentals. It looks peaceful and super nice!

    • Alyce says:

Hi Larry, Thanks for sharing! The Great Lakes up north are impressive but in a very different way than Lake Chatuge in Georgia. There are lots of nice places on Lake Chatuge to enjoy a peaceful day on the mountain lake. I hope you can visit soon!
