Great local info on the current status of the Georgia parks and public access.  This Covid19 stuff can be confusing and you are right the 6 foot distance is a bit tough on these hiking trails and walking paths.  I certainly would be concerned about turkey shooting and getting shot if someone is not careful in those designated areas.  All the information on this is super helpful and critical to our health!  Thanks for the update!

A nice site that explains well of the closure of parks and trails. I really like your things to do at home section of your site. I can watch bird wildlife by my house and do other activities with my kids. And I can do exercises as we all wait for this covid-19 crisis to pass. And most businesses have an online presence so it is easy to purchase items fro online stores. Interesting and helpful article you have written. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Courtney. Watching wildlife is always relaxing. We also put up a bird feeder at our house and we were so surprised at how close we could be to the birds while they ate!

While it’s not a fun thing to do, the need for everyone to stay home while the COVID-19 coronavirus passes is temporary. It’s hard to stay home when the weather is so beautiful, but it’s a necessary step to help save lives in our communities.

Thanks, this post has a lot of helpful information and answers to questions I’ve had lately. It’s helpful to know where to check on the status of parks, trails, and other places, and also especially helpful to offer some suggestions of stuff to do at home.  I’d love to be able to have that Ninja obstacle course but I don’t have the room.  Having read your post I am going to check out Audible, as I read a lot but it’s good to have an alternative.  In fact, I could exercise while listening to an Audible book, what do you think?

P.S. I’ve always wanted to do the AT, fingers crossed I can still check it out in the future.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Louise, I’m sure that hiking the AT will be back in business when the pandemic threat has passed. Keep that dream alive and start your planning and prepping while you wait on the facilities to re-open.

Audible is a great way to enjoy quality content when you can’t physically focus on a book. A lot of people definitely enjoy their workouts a lot more with a great book to keep them entertained!
