I just stumbled across this post about Reece’s Cider Company in Ellijay, GA and I must say, I’m intrigued! I’ve never been to Georgia, but I’ve heard the cider scene there is pretty fantastic.

Now, I’m no expert on cider, but I’ve had my fair share of it over the years. In fact, I remember going on a cider tasting tour in England once and it was an absolute blast. So, let’s dive into this post and see what Reece’s Cider Company has to offer.

First of all, I love that the cider is made using apples grown right in Ellijay. It’s always great to see local businesses supporting local agriculture. And, from what I can see in the post, the ciders offered by Reece’s look delicious! I especially like the sound of the Firecracker cider, a mix of apples and jalapeno peppers. That sounds like the perfect blend of sweet and spicy!

I have a few questions though. Does the cider company offer tours or tastings? Are the ciders sold in stores or only available at the cidery? And, what sets Reece’s Cider Company apart from other cideries in the area?

Overall, I think it’s fantastic that there are places like Reece’s Cider Company that offer unique and locally made products. It’s always great to support local businesses, especially those that are making something delicious and unique like cider.

My opinion on the matter? I’m all for it! I think it’s important to support local businesses and try new things. So, if you’re ever in Ellijay, GA, be sure to check out Reece’s Cider Company and let me know how the ciders are. I might just have to make a trip down there to try them out myself!

Hi Bob, thanks for checking in! North Georgia is home to lots of great apple orchards, so it makes sense that there would also be a great hard cider scene as well!

The two main producers of hard cider in the area are Reece’s Cider Co and Mercier Orchards. They both offer cider tastings from their tasting rooms, where you’ll have the chance to select and purchase a “tasting flight” of your favorites.

Reece’s Cider Co is a relatively new addition to the area and focuses on making great hard ciders. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the cidery has an easy, relaxed vibe. It’s especially nice on the weekends when you can also enjoy live music and tasty surprises from local food trucks.

It’s easy to recommend Reece’s Cider Company as an excellent North Georgia agritourism destination. I hope you get the chance to stop by and try the cider soon!

Wonderful, It’s very impressive how well you express Reece’s company. I enjoyed reading everything that you mentioned about this local destination. I think the best part of this event is outdoor seating – I enjoy spending time outside and especially in rural places with fresh air. Pet-friendly events and live music are awesome too!

Reece’s Cider Co just shared plans to improve their outdoor space, so keep an eye out for some nice additions that will hopefully be open soon! Enjoy!!

I’m totally on-board with visiting Reece’s cider Co. when we are in the Georgia area. I love taste-tests, ciders, and even the craft beers.

It is interesting that this place allows pet-friendly dogs on a leash, this is uniques as many people have support dogs now-a-days, and this really fits in with a customer experience.

Thx for this artilce. Really helpful.

Hi Jeremy! Reece’s Cider Co has a very laid-back vibe and the dogs seem to enjoy their time at the cidery as much as the people! 🙂

      Cheers!!
