Ott Farms and Vineyards look like a perfect place to escape to over a weekend. I love a glass of cold white wine, but I am not familiar with any of the cultivars that are mentioned here. The red ones like merlot, syrah and zinfandel yes. My favourite cultivar is a sauvignon blanc, but that is most probably because I grew up in South Africa. I would like to visit Georgia one day and try the wine tasting there.

I also enjoy a great Sauvignon Blanc, and now that you mention it, I realize that it has been a while since I’ve had one!

    Hello,

I really like your review! As a Frenchwoman, I really like vineyards and everything related to wine. I believe that your review will do an immense favor to this vineyard, as it seems to me that they are local producers. Red, rose and white wine are all fine. However, have you ever tasted their wines? Which is the one you recommend above all your selection?  And I also greatly enjoyed your selected cottages! I just want to fly and be there! You did a fairly good job with this review!

Thank you so much for your kindness! I have tried and do enjoy the wines at Ott Farms and Vineyard. I usually prefer dry red wine, but on hotter summer days I like to switch to a cool, crisp white wine. I usually recommend a wine flight that will let you sample the ones that look best to you. Once you find your favorite, it’s easy to purchase a glass or bottle in the tasting room!

I love a glass of Red wine. Cant beat it. Especially with or after food. But i have to admit, i know very little of American wine, let alone wine from Georgia. Maybe that’s because i live in Scotland in the UK, so we tend to get a lot more European wines aeround these parts. Or maybe i’m just making excuses for being uninformed and lacking the culture. So thanks for this article. I enjoyed reading it almost as much as i enjoy a glass of Red.

Hello to you in Scotland! I am definitely biased towards the local Georgia wines, so it’s understandable that you feel similarly towards your own wines in Scotland and Europe! I don’t normally choose to drink Scotch, but I made sure to enjoy it when I was visiting Scotland… it definitely tastes better when drinking it locally!
