One of North Georgia’s newest vineyards is Buckley Vineyards Farm + Winery opened in May 2021, excited to finally share their wines with the public.

The tasting room is located across the street from their vineyards. There are 2 levels of indoor seating in the tasting room and multiple seating areas outside. Note that pets are not allowed at Buckley Vineyards.

Buckley Vineyards is located in Ellijay GA on Turkey Creek, on an old homestead on Henry Evans Road.
Enjoy a variety of local wines at the newly opened Buckley Vineyards. Current wine offerings include white wines (Chardonnay and Blanc du Bois), red wines (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot), a sweet wine (Muscadine), and a fruit wine (Apple Wine). Wine slushies, beer, and other non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

What is your favorite thing about visiting Buckley Vineyards and the other great attractions in Ellijay?
Oh, look! You’re playing my song! I’m a big fan of wine so this makes me wish that a trip to Georgia was in my near future as this facility looks like a great place to visit. I see that they have a VRBO to rent so perhaps I’ll make the pilgrimage. In the meantime, I’ll order a few bottles. Although I’m a red wine girl I think I’ll try the apple wine! Wow! That Cork & Creek Cottage is absolutely amazing! I guess I’m going to have to save up some money so I can relax there with a glass of wine from the vineyard lol. Buckley Vineyards sounds like it would be perfect for my mom. I wonder if I could book something for her vacation as a surprise… She never does anything for herself! Thank you for the inspiration! The Georgia mountains sure are gorgeous.
Hi Nicole! That cottage is a great space to set up headquarters for a trip to North Georgia’s wine country. The cottage is within walking distance to both Buckley Vineyards and to Ott Farms and Vineyards too! Note that the walks are more of a country walk on dirt roads than a city walk on paved streets, so be sure that everyone brings comfortable footwear!
