180 Wolf Mountain Trail, Dahlonega, GA

A must-see in the Georgia Mountains is Wolf Mountain Vineyards & Winery, just north of the Dahlonega square. This is a GaMountainsGuide favorite for the wines, the food, and the spectacular Blue Ridge views! Enjoy sparkling white wines made in the French-style Méthode Champenoise (a rare find in the Georgia Mountains). The Blanc de Blancs Brut is a personal favorite and worth a try when it’s available. Tastings may include a selection of 6-10 wines including white, rose, red, sparking, and dessert. The vineyard and winery sits on top of Wolf Mountain at 1,800 feet above sea level, and has stunning long-range mountain views.
Beautiful, but steep property requires an alert driver and most parking areas require climbing up or down some stairs.
No outside food / picnics. Outdoor seating is available, but it fills up quickly on the weekends. Leashed dogs are now allowed on the outside patios!

Wow! Excellent overview of what the wolf mountain vineyards and winery is all about and the unique features that makes it a unique spot. Personally, I like the ambience and the aura that springs from the elegance of this environment with its tranquil serenity. It would be an ideal location for a destination wedding. I guess I will bookmark it for future response when me and wife decides to take the conjugal vows. Great post
You are correct in that Wolf Mountain is a gorgeous place for a wedding! My first visit to the vineyard was for a friend’s wedding over 10 years ago. I fell in love with everything about the place, and it’s only grown to get better since then! Their sparkling wines are the best in the area and the Sunday brunch is always a gourmet treat. Wolf Mountain Vineyards is truly one of the top vineyard destinations in the Georgia mountains!
Wishing you and your sweetie all the best!
