Do I need reservations for me and my wife for wine tasting? I’m thinking of coming this saturday…

    • Alyce says:

Hi Bill, You should not need reservations for just 2 people at Creekstone Winery. I hope you enjoy their wines, the friendly service, and the spectacular views! It’s one of my favorite places!!

Such a great look at the Creekstone Winery. I would love to taste some of those wines. Pazzo Red Blend sounds fantastic. I would love to get some of that Chambourcin.

Personally, I find it odd that the way they do things is no smoking, no events, no children. I mean, the no smoking and no events I understand perfectly. But allowing pets and not kids that feels kind of alien to me. I mean, to some extent I do get it. Small children are sometimes very noisy. But so are pets. Plus, pets can bring a ton of other potential problems like ruined furniture which I would say with kids is far less likely. But, yeah, I guess it depends from case to case. 🙂

Hi Matiss, Creekstone certainly offers some great wines. We brought home a bottle of the Merlot after our last tasting and thoroughly enjoyed it!

I think you may be confusing Creekstone’s policies about wine and children. To clarify:

      – Children and individuals under 21 years of age are allowed in the tasting room (young children are asked to stay with adults)

      – While official service animals are allowed inside the tasting room, other leashed dogs are only allowed outside

The nearby featured vacation rental is the place with the policies that you mention. If you need something more flexible, there are lots of other available places to stay that can accommodate all kinds of different needs.

Hope that helps with your trip planning! Enjoy!!

Hi there, Creekstone Winery looks as if it has a beautiful setting with mountain top views of Mt Yonah. My husband has his 65th birthday coming up, and as a wine lover, I wanted to arrange a wine tasting event for him to celebrate his big day. You mention that Creekstone Winery is also an event facility, so do you know if one can book the entire place for a private event then? Thanks.

    • Alyce says:

Hello, What a fun idea for a 65th birthday celebration! I’m not sure if the entire winery can be booked, but Creekstone Winery does accommodate larger groups for wine tastings with advance reservations. I’d recommend that you reach out to Creekstone directly to find out more about options that would work best for your group. Cheers!

Lovely place. I’ve not really had much of a chance to try authentic wine. Perhaps I will one day. I am very adverse to the taste of alcohol, but I’m sure there are some flavors out there that I’d like. Also I have to say the place has a very homely feel to it! Looks more like a residence than a winery, haha!

    • Alyce says:

Hi Christina, The views and nice grounds make for a lovely place to enjoy the afternoon, no matter if you drink the wines or offer to safely drive your group as the designated driver. Enjoy!
