12 Spies Vineyards and Farms is located in Rabun Gap, in the Northeast corner of the Georgia mountains. The refreshing smell of crisp, clean mountain air hits you instantly upon arrival at this vineyard and winery.

This tasting room is a personal favorite and features a variety of wines from sweet to dry in white and red. Enjoy your wine on the “Vino Veranda” or at one of the picnic tables and Adirondack chairs on the large, grassy green lawn. Enjoy sweeping views of the mountains and vineyard.

Dogs on a leash are welcome outside and you are welcome to bring a picnic basket to enjoy with your 12 Spies wines. The parking area is not paved, so plan your footwear accordingly.
Note that as of February 2021, all visitors to 12 Spies Vineyards and Farm must be at least 21 years old.

Wine tasting room at 12 Spies Vineyards
Closed for holidays. Groups of 6+ may request other hours by appointment. Tours of the vineyard and winery are available during non-peak hours. The tasting room is open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all year long. The tasting room is open daily during peak months. See website for current hours.

This looks like a brilliant retreat for a wide family circle. If 10 of us go to the pet friendly lodge it will work out at a really reasonable price, so we can have a really cheap weekend. We could actually make it a regular event.
As it is in the mountains the views will be brilliant and it will be total peace and quiet. Well, until we get there anyway lol.
We will certainly have to plan it around the opening times of the vineyard, as we certainly don’t want to miss out on that.

Hello, I’m not sure if they are available in the Marietta area at this time. The 12 Spies website lists a number of places where you can currently find their wines, but they look like they are all in the Northeast Geogia area.
