Clayton Georgia is truly an amazing small town to visit during warmer months for relaxation with family & friends. I need to plan another trip to Clayton with my family once school is out for the summer. I’m loving the town home for more privacy as hotels can be bit much for families with small kids.

Hi Jannette, Clayton is a great place to enjoy upscale living in a small-town environment. The cottonwood townhome rental is a great choice for a bit of extra space for a family.

Hi. I’ve been having a growing fascination with sites and places in Georgia. These places also look nice. They can have a way of being breathtaking. I’ve always been most drawn to the highly rated and most recommended places to stay in. I just love the ones that also have their own dining and restaurants.

It’s also exciting that there are inns and hotels close to local areas and attractions. Just about any state has that and Georgia is no different. I’d love to plan a trip to go there and bring a group of people with me.

    Hello, Markus,

I haven’t travelled south from Missouri in years. And when I did travel south, it was straight through Georgia to Florida, which is my home state. It would appear that I have missed some beautiful scenery .I really enjoyed reading about all the luxury places to stay and things to see. If I had known that north Georgia had a winery, maybe that would have tempted me to take a trip.

Your pictures are beautiful and tempting. I love rustic wooden architecture. It makes one want to just spend a lot of time thoroughly taking in the scenery and shopping.

Unfortunately, so many people are in a hurry to get through Atlanta and in to Florida, all they see is traffic. Now I know that there are other great places to see in Georgia. I love to learn about new places, and Clayton, Ga. is certainly a lovely place to explore.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Barbara, I’m so happy that you have found North Georgia. There are lots of ways to relax and have fun, and the location makes it a great spot to break up road trips between Missouri and Florida!

Hi! Looks like really nice place to visit. My choice would be the dog friendly cabin with mountain view. Looks very nice! That would be optimal when I would want to take our loved dog with us. We have family of five, so need the room. Also the view looks stunning!

    • Alyce says:

Hi Markus, That’s a great choice for a vacation rental for a family with a dog! Our family loves traveling with our dog too!! I hope you all have a lovely time in Clayton!

  5. Alex says:

When I travel I do not know where I am going to stay the night until I get there. You have defiantly shown me some beautiful locations to look into for lodging. The photos and review ratings help you choose which one has the quality and visual esthetics you are looking for. By throwing the sources to book a stay makes thing easier to find the best place for any road trip to make memories.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Alex, I’ve also stayed in many places that I booked at the last minute (after riding into town at night). That spontaneity can be a great way to travel. I’ve found that approach to work best when you don’t plan to spend much time in town or in your hotel. For more extended stays or trips during peak seasons, it can be beneficial to reserve a room in advance to get the best hotel selections, the most choices of room types, plus great nightly rates on the room!

I’m happy to hear that this has helped you to find where to stay in Clayton, GA!
