Lodging at North GA Wineries Redtail Mountain Vineyard Cabin Rental
Which of these North Georgia wineries looks like the best place for your next vacation?

Hello, I was thinking about taking my wife to a place similar to yours. Awesome website by the way. I am thinking about doing something for a week or so in September 2020. What would be your best recommendation for a couple celebrating their 5 year anniversary? What are your reservation guidelines?
Thanks so much
.
Hi Justin,
September is a lovely time to visit the Georgia mountains.
The summer attractions in the area will start to close for the season after Labor Day weekend, so I’d recommend arriving early in the month if you want to explore seasonal activities (things on the water). The autumn / fall attractions will start to pick up towards the end of the month as the temperatures cool (corn mazes, scenic railway fall foliage rides, harvest festivals, and more!).
Each vineyard lodging option will have it’s own individual policies regarding reservations, but I’d recommend making your reservation as soon as you can to get the best availability!
Thank you for this post. I am so glad I found this. My friends and I built a huge tree house when we were kids. The thought of taking a vacation and staying in a tree house sounds amazing. My wife and I love wine and this will definitely be on my to do list. Thanks again. Michael
Hi Michael, You’ll have a great time at these vineyards or at a treehouse. You can stay at The Blue Ridge Treehouse (on site at Bear Claw Vineyards) or choose to stay at a rustic treehouse rental (no climate control or plumbing) or a luxe treehouse rental (modern luxurious amenities).
Thank you for this great article! The weekend special Vine Keepers deal for $240 for the weekend sounds really good. All of the Villas also sound really nice. That’s cool that you get to stay in a whole entire house. That would be really nice since a change of scenery can be really helpful at times.
That’s nice that in the cabins, you can get one day for free when you stay for a full seven days. I really liked that treehouse in the bear claw Vineyards. The tree house would probably be my number one favorite choice. Thank you for your expertise on staying in places in Georgia, and I have a great day!
Hi C, I agree that the vineyard treehouse is a fun choice that would provide a very memorable stay. If that treehouse is booked during your visit, be sure to check out the other posts with details about either Rustic Treehouse Rentals or Luxury Treehouse Rentalsin the Georgia mountains.
My wife and I went on our honeymoon to Italy and those Montaluce Villas remind me so much of some of the houses we saw there. I never thought of Georgia as a winery destination before, but it really looks spectacular! I also really like the look of the Blue Ridge Treehouse. I have watched shows about the construction of treehouses and thought it would be fun to stay in one. This looks like the opportunity to do so!
It’s great that there is such a variety of options when looking for a unique place to stay in the Georgia mountains. The Montaluce Villas are definitely a bit of luxury in the Dahlonega area, while the neat treehouse provides a more laid-back environment (Bear Claw Vineyards include firepits, cornhole games, and more). You can be sure of a memorable trip with either vineyard lodging choice!!
Wow, this is really nice. I have been looking for a place to visit this December and I have been hearing alot about Georgia Mountains. So far ibhage gathered quite alot about this place and this good details just keeps getting more and more. Looking at the idea of staying at a vineyard would make so much sense to me. I’ll love to visit some day. Thanks for sharing.
It’s great that so many Georgia vineyards have facilities where you can stay and really enjoy the scenery and all that the vineyard and surrounding area has to offer. Winter is a lovely time to visit as it’s the least crowded time of year for a visit (which will allow for specialized attention for your group!).
Planning ahead is always going to be the way forward, especially when it comes to having a family of six. For once I have a selection to choose from, which is excellent. In the past it has always been a struggle to find choices, there would only ever be one or two that could accomodate six.
Paradise Hills looks like the favourite, with it being a Spa-site and, not that it’s a deal breaker for me, they allow pets. I had a look at the other venues and they’re all exceptional but I think this one tops it all with having the horse riding available. At a very low price of $89 per night I think anyone would be hard pushed to find a better deal.
A short break in a beautiful location, throw in horse riding, spa, ‘pet friendly’ and a very reasonable price, ticks all the boxes for me.
Paradise Hills is a lovely choice for staying at a Georgia mountain vineyard and nicely tucked away in the mountains. It will definitely feel like a nice retreat with all of the available activities.
This is amazing!
We plan to take vacation in GA next year and this gives so much insight on all the option and prices we could stay.
Thank you so much for all the info. How fun would be to stay at a vinyeard.
Rin, you are most correct. These options to stay on site at a Georgia mountain vineyard can provide beautiful scenery with a truly unique local experience.
Hello there, thanks for sharing this wonderful post. Having to spend a night at a vine yard is one cool experience I have always enjoyed once I was a kid, and growing up and meeting all these changes have removed lots of fun activities from my life. Looking at this post, I am really impressed with the suggestions you have given on these vine yard, aloe for those prices, its something I’ll love to experience. Nice being here.
HI!
Thank you for the walk down memory lane! I lived in Atlanta for five years, and some reason every 6 to 7 weeks was required to go to the Georgia Mountains. It looks fantastic but be very careful there are a lot of creepy and crawly in them their hills. The wine was extraordinary and worth the trip.
Thanks again and take care of yourself!
John
Haha, it does always pay to be alert and aware of wildlife that you may encounter when you go into the woods. Fortunately, the vineyards always feel to be a safe space to relax with a glass of wine!
